Tax credit renewal week 9!

Any help be greatly appreciated.
It's been 9 weeks since I renewed, I called last week to be told it's not been processed but I don't need to do anything else and could take upto 10 weeks.
Iv been reading online and seems most that take this long are being investigated but I haven't had any letters or anything requesting extra info??
Surly if that was the case I would have by now?
I have moved house this year so any info they require for last year (if do get asked) will be difficult as only have council tax bill, gas elec etc from previous house.
I'm claiming as a single parent- haven't see my ex since November, that was the last time u received any maintenance from him (this shows on bank statements)
Obviously my new address there is nothing in his name here (he doesn't know where we are!)
Iv read so many horror stories I'm now panicking about it

I've just submitted mine so can't comment how long it will take this time around but I'm sure I put it in around April and it didn't get sorted out till around July. Don't panic, just wait another 2 weeks and call again if you haven't heard anything - remember how busy they must be this time of year, it's like xmas for retail!

Sometimes they need to do checks but don't necessarily need you to give them any info. Sometimes the system is just slow or there is a system error that just takes longer to clear.

I'll leave it till next week, 10 weeks and give them a ring.
I'm sure when I phoned last week at 8 weeks they would have said if it was sent for checks or something so trying not to stress.
Just don't want them to stop or get a overpayment!

I am also on 10 weeks this week. Apparently mine is a system error which needs to be cleared manually.

I'm now on Week 11 and still waiting for my award notice! I also call them every couple of weeks only to be told it has not yet been processed. I've never known it take this long before.

Same here around 11 weeks Heard nothing. Haven't chased as phone lines always jammed this time of year and nothings changed and payments continuing as normal.
think they just begged tbh

im still waiting ten weeks, they asked for original p60 for last year which I sent and they now say its lost! luckily I sent it recorded delivery! they told me it would all be done by 4th august, today they told me much longer wait than that! meanwhile they've got us on £10 a week instead of £50! hitting a brick wall every time I ring! have they actually done any renewals yet???
