Wall wont dry where mold was...?

Hi ALl,
An exterior wall i have had some green algae/mold on. I dug a little soil out and leveled it off. Got a stiff brush and soapy water , majority of if it has gone.
However the areas where the majority of the green was...is still wet....i washed the whole wall yet these bricks arent drying and a white mark is being left. Is there a problem with damp and if so who do i need to call or what i can do please?
Thanks!

If it's a north facing wall ( which may be why you have algae on it ) it may not dry out quickly. See how it goes with time.Forgotten but not gone.0

If there is moisture in the wall it will take a while to dry out. The water may also be penetrating from the outside, in which case it wont dry out until we have a dry spell!0

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. Yes it is indeed a North facing wall! The bricks above the damp ones dried and I just found it strange. But it does look like they are slowly drying.
Still leaving a white stain. I'm wondering if another scrub with some bleach might do the trick.
Might not be such a good plan filling this area with white stones afterall!0 -
Just let it dry out, more bleach/water will just prolong it.0

Most likely salt forming on the surface as the damp dries out.Still leaving a white stain.
