    And won't it be good when it happens, to watch the useless self-serving two-faced lot of them having to actually roll up to the Commons and actually do some urgent and constuctive work!!!
    There is that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    As for what we import from the EU ... my computer's on a bit of a go slow, so I can't put the linkie in, but I can see the beginning of an article from fullfact.org, which says that 54% of the imports into the UK in 2016 came from the EU. Hmm. Thats quite a lot.

    That figure includes goods which are first imported into eg Rotterdam and then shipped across the Channel so the true figure for goods originating in the EU is somewhat less though I'm not sure how much
    It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

    Yoghurts and Haribo. Fortunately it should still be possible to get a locally-made jellybaby.

    Quite a bit comes from Ireland and they probably won't be as bloody minded as our near Continental neighbours

    Danish bacon!

    German food ... spicy sausages? French cheeses. Pasta, olives and cheese from Italy and Spain.

    This is really, *really* interesting, and its very encouraging for our own efforts: the Netherlands, tiny little country, is the second largest agricultural exporter in the world, after the US.

    Just over a quarter of that was what maryb is describing, a re-export of an import.

    In terms of our own individual efforts, I suppose its like square foot gardening - lots of input, lots of output, per square foot. And this Nat Geo article about Dutch farming is also interesting: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/2017/09/holland-agriculture-sustainable-farming/
