Perhaps the Op wants to surprise the whole family. Maybe she isn't [as] judgemental and patronising as you?0 -

It was a perfectly genuine question - why ask strangers on the internet what children will like if you live with one of their parents?0 -

She is asking for ideas on what to do during the holidays, she's also asking for ideas on food.
Perhaps take a moment to read her post and offer some help.0 -
I was hoping you could give me some ideas for what to do with my step kids during the holidays.
I'm new to the step mum thing and get on really well with the kids (12 & 15)
What kind of kids are they -
very sporty?
computer/science geeks?
ones who find everything 'boring!'?
indoor/outdoor types?
If you know what they enjoy, it's easier to chose what outings to arrange.0 -
Thank you so much for all the ideas. I've been googling up a storm and checking Groupon etc so I have loads of ideas now for what to do.
Definitely going to take them to London, and I've found loads of things in the local area.
Regarding the what do they eat - I'm trying to expand their repertoire as they are a bit limited at the moment, not really into anything apart from very plain food. So I thought I'd get them into the kitchen to help me with the cooking as we've got them for a nice long time, usually we just take them out at the weekend.
I'm so excited!0 -
Butlins sometimes offer deals in newspapers. It's a great place for kids, particularly U14.:T :money: :T0
