Ladies Sekonda watch Model 04720

We have an oldish Ladies Sekonda watch model 04720. which we wish to use as a back in case of need. Sometime in the past someone on our household has removed the battery and we are trying to find out what size button cell battery we need to fit into the watch. We have trued the standard size AG4 377 1.5 v but that does not appear to fit. Has anyone any idea where we can find out what size battery is required for this watch. It is not worth taking it to a jewellers as it not an expensive watch and will only be required as a back up for our holiday. Any feedback with suggestions will be appreciated.

I haven't checked google as I'm assuming you have and couldn't find the answer. What I'd do in these circumstances is but a card of button cells from a pound shop and see if one of them will fit. They do have the most common sizes so you may well strike lucky.

It might be worth E Mail Sekonda Customer Service Support with the details. They might answer and advise you the type of battery you require, but will probably add that the change of battery should be undertaken by a qualified Jeweller!!!.I agree with you with an old watch you have nothing to lose doing it yourself.

A market stall will charge you £2.50 for a new battery

Or buy a watch from the £1 shop.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
