With profits life insurance????

We would like to take out a life cover insurance??? We don't need any mortgage protection or critical illness. What we have had is paying a fixed sum over 10 years and getting a sum back at the end with profits. Is this type of insurance still available and if not, what is recommended for a sixty year old.

Endowments are virtually obsolete now. You either do savings/investments for saving/investing or you do a life assurnace policy. You dont mix the two.

What would be recommended would be the product that suits your need. This would either be a term assurance/whole of life assurance and/or and ISA.

  • I am a little clearer now, thank you, but do you have any advice on where to look for this term/whole of life assurance?

I think we okay about finding an ISA.
