Seems AMEX have sent out emails offering customers free Avios/membership reward points if you add a supplementary cardholder.
I've been offered 500 Avios for the BA Card and 3000 points for the Gold card. Seems a quick and hassle free way to earn a few extra avios/points.
Might be worth checking your emails if you'd benefit from this.
