You have to text the question to use your free goes - it just means you can't use the box. Look here
I'm not sure if that means you're entered in the comp though - There's no mention of it on their site

Hi there,
I'm a content manager at Texperts, and I thought I'd clarify the questions surrounding our competiton with the Metro. The contest allows anyone with a UK mobile number to enter the competition once. In order to enter you need to a) register with the metro and b) ask a question in the "web widget" on the metro's website. This gets you a chance to win a 46" Sony Bravia LCD TV and a free answer to your question.
You can get 5 free answers via SMS by clicking on the 'Register' link on our website: www.texperts.com. This has nothing to do with the contest and you can do it any time, but you can only do it once (though clearly we'd love it if you tell your mates about it ;-).
Normally, questions to Texperts on 66000 cost a text, and answers cost a quid. I hope that helps.
Cheers, Eric0 -
