Help - MP3 Music Downloads

Hello All

I've been given an MP3 player, and now need to download some music to put on it. I have had a look on Google, and there are so many different music download sites, I don't know where to start!

Can anybody recommend a good site for an MP3 virgin to start?

    My 'absolute gem' of a find for legal mp3 downloads has to be

    It's based in russia so look for the 'english version' link on the homepage!

    They've a HUGE collection going back around 30 years, and the unique feature of charging you depending on the quality you choose. A typical 128kbps mp3 track will cost you around 6p!!
