To balance transfer or not?

I have a £450 balance on my capitalone credit card. The 0% interest free period end this month and I was going to pay it off in full this weekend, I have the cash set aside.

However I have a 0% interest balance transfer (3% fee) offer from Halifax whom I have a £2850 balance @ 25.95% APR.

I'm wondering should I:

a) Pay the cap1 card off and be done with it.

b) Throw that £450 cash at the higher interest rate of 25.95% Halifax card and then balance transfer the cap1 car across after a couple days later?

That gives me 6 months to chisel away at this card at the higher interest rate but inevitably not being able to clear the balance transfer off before 6months.

c) Any other suggestions?

I would balance transfer the £450 to Halifax and then once that has gone through then pay £450 off Halifax. That way a large chunk of the original £2850 will be paid and also some of the zero percent £450 (depending on Halifax allocate payments usually highest interest debts first)
That way you have decreased overall debt and be able to focus solely on Halifax repayments whilst also knowing that some of that debt is zero percent. Get rid of capital one. Good luck.
