Thanks Paragon, Alice. I will get a letter off to the doctor on Thursday and will be able to get an SSCS1 form on Thursday too. The only thing I don't understand is how will I be able to look through the medical records from mental health? The Mental health team are not at my doctors but maybe he can see records on his computer but surely there would be all kinds of notes etc written by psychologist/psychiatrist during meetings. I have no idea what's available or what I would have access to anyway. But I haven't been under care since 2008 and even then they never gave me a CPN.

It was hard even to get the psychiatrist I was seeing at the time to write a letter to the DWP to ask for my money to be paid weekly instead of fortnightly because my budgeting was so bad that I was going days without food or eating really cheap food but he didn't want to write it. In the end he agreed but it can't have been a good letter as I was refused so I wrote back to them myself and asked them to reconsider and thankfully they did. When I had 2 suicide attempts taking lots of pills different kinds and became extremely ill for days I didn't go to the hospital because of the anxiety and really I'm surprised I'm not dead. I told the psychiatrist (a different one) the next time I saw her and she showed no concern and said we have to move on because we have a a set amount of time. I don't know if its normal around the country for mental health to treat people like this but here if you're house bound 99% of the time, have no social integration, are suicidal, and have a massive and destructive drinking problem because you're an isolated multi phobic they don't care unless you're also schizophrenic. Its like a golden ticket to access help. Even my doctor has told me without schizophrenia its very difficult to get help here.

A bit of a rant. But thanks for all the help and advice.
