Bergamo - Brescia Options.

Hi all,

I have booked a flight and accommodation in Northern Italy. I am flying into Bergamo and staying in Bergamo for 2 days, then going to Brescia for 3 days, then up to Riva del Garda for 7 days then returning to Bergamo.
So I was going to hire a car after staying in Bergamo (from the airport) to go to Brescia and then on up to Riva; returning the car to Bergamo airport some 10 days later.
However having the car for those extra 3 days in Brescia increases the car hire by over £100

So my question is what are the transport links like between Bergamo and Brescia? There are 4 of us travelling so I'd need to reconcile the cost of return public transit for the 4 of us against the additional £100+ for the car hire.

Looks as if you would have to pay up to 5 Euro per person for a train ticket, and spend almost an hour sitting on the train.
