What do you think of 2 year degrees, and easier switching courses/unis?

The Government is asking for your views on accelerated degrees, which give students the opportunity to complete a full 3 year degree in 2 years. This would mean the possibility getting a full time job sooner, and should save money spent on expenses like rent. These degrees do already exist, but there are only a few, so the Government is keen to know if there's demand for more.

Do you think this is a good idea? Would you be interested in an accelerated degree? Or do you think there wouldn’t be enough time left over for sports, hobbies, travel, or simply taking a break?

Another proposal from the Government is to make it easier for students to switch university or degree without having to start from scratch. This would avoid the costs associated with having to repeat a year’s study (fees, rent etc). Have you ever considered switching university or degree course? Do think this is a good idea?

You can share your views directly by completing the Government's short survey until 19 July.

After you've done the survey, we'd love to know what you think here too!
