Hi
I am currently in receipt of ESA, PIP, Housing Benefit, Council Tax credit, Child Tax Credit. My daughter I get DLA and low rate Mobility Rate.
I am looking to return to work part time and am aware that I will lose ESA will I also lose PIP?
I do not claim carer's allowance if I did would I be able to get a part time job?
My former matrimonial home has been sold and I am to receive money from this which is being finalised with my ex husband's solicitor. How will this affect my benefit entitlement?
Is there an advice line I can phone to get advice?
Thank you

Hi

I am looking to return to work part time and am aware that I will lose ESA will I also lose PIP? You will not lose PIP as it is not means tested.
I do not claim carer's allowance if I did would I be able to get a part time job? The person you care for must be receiving at least mid rate DLA to claim CA. You can earn up to £110 a week and still keep the CA.
My former matrimonial home has been sold and I am to receive money from this which is being finalised with my ex husband's solicitor. How will this affect my benefit entitlement? if you intend to buy another house with it then the money could be disregarded for 26 weeks or more. if you do not buy another house then if it is over £16000 you will not be eligible for any means tested benefits.
Is there an advice line I can phone to get advice?
Thank you
I suggest you go to CAB for a benefit check up> They will look at different scenarios and tell you what you can expect to get as regards benefits and how your money will affect them You may also be eligible for working tax credits if you work at tleast 16 hrs. Rather too many 'what ifs' to answer fully, sorry.0
