Hi.

Im confused as to why the middle total of £335.31 has been deducted from whats going to be paid to me. I understand the first £335.39 and the £700.85 but the middle payment of £335.31 has also been deducted leaving me a total of £1940.47. The middle total is what Ive already paid back right?

thanks

You've paid back £335.31 towards an overpayment as it says "already collected".

Youre going to pay back a further £700.85.

Yes I know. But why has both totals been taken away from whats owed to me?

Sorry not really understanding what's confusing about it?

    You're entitled to £3312.02.

£1036.16 of that is being taken away to repay an overpayment. Since April £335.31 has already been taken off you and another £700.85 is left to be taken off you by next April.

The new total at the bottom which is now owed to me takes into consideration the the £700 that I owe them. So that's now paid. also between April and now they have been paying me each week so I understand that's reflected in the new total. But why also take off me 'again' what they have already taken off me?

No the £700 hasnt been collected yet, it says "we intend to collect".

    - You're entitled to £3312.02
    - £1036.16 is getting taken back to an overpayment, £335.31 since April and another £700.85 until next April.
    - Youve had £335.39 already
    - You have £1940.47.

Nothing has been taken off twice. It all works out exact.

Overpayments are collected back in installments, they are taken back at the beginning of the year, they can't be because your circumstances may change.

So each week they take back percentage until it is finally paid off.

    Hi

When I say the £700 has already been collected, I mean this is reflected in the weekly payments which they have quoted that they are going to pay me untill next year.

So what your saying is, what they have already paid me so far this year would of been higher but they have deducted the £335 figure from those.

    Thanks
