Hi after over two years with the FOS my complaint was upheld in April, FOS suggested it would be 8 weeks before I received payment. At 9 weeks I phoned genworth/financial insurance group and was told it was with Santander who were making calculations, fair enough I thought, give them another week. I rang again today to be told Santander have no record of my case! Not sure where this leaves me, back to the FOS I go! Anyone else had this happen?

Very few, I'd imagine. However, that probably won't help you.

Back to the FOS. Hopefully they will still have records to save you starting again.

Santander are usually very good and are currently paying out re PPI from the then Arcadia group store cards. Follow it up with an email or letter - but yes, payments do often take at least 8 weeks even after notification from the FOS.

Hi

Successful claim and received £2800 less tax for GE Capital Kwik-fit card from early nineties. Burton card turned down but will probably appeal to regulator
