Milan for Beyonce concert July 18th

Hi, I am taking my girlfriend to Milan for a surprise to see her favourite artist Beyonce. Only problem is we will arrive at Malpensa airport at 18:15 and the concert starts at 18:00. That should be OK as she probably won't be on stage till about 20:00 but what is the best (and cheapest) quickest way to get from the airport to the San Siro Stadium? I think it we go to our hotel first we won't have time. Thanks for any help 😊

there is information on the website about travel from various places

- if you go straight to concert what will you do with your baggage?0 -
Thanks for the link. Yea that was another thing I was wondering, if we just had a rucksack would they let us in the stadium with it? I couldn't find any answers on Google.0
-
Also do you know Milan well and how long that train would take?0

I doubt, particularly in today's security atmosphere, that they would let you in with any baggage.
Even in the best of circumstances (I haven't checked) those timings look extremely tight and that's assuming the flight arrives on time. Bear in mind it's rush hour time. I'd say about an hour.
Just had a look:
.• From MALPENSA AIRPORT: Use the train connection Malpensa Express up to Cadorna FN. Continue then wih the subway Line M1 (Linea Rossa) towards Rho Fiera, and go down at the Lotto stop; here take Line M5 (Linea Lilla) until San Siro Stadio stop
There appears to be a new left luggage spot at Cadorno station, and there certainly is at the central station. Ooh, tell a lie, just read on from the headline (in Italian) and the Cadorno one seems built but not operational..
The CS closes at midnight, but being Italy they might leave early...
Couldn't you get an earlier flight? At the moment it doesn't look very practicable.0 -
I think Central Station left luggage closes at 11 pm, according to this.

I doubt whether the concert will be finished in time to let you get there before it closes. Earlier flight (day before perhaps?) would seem a lot less stressful.0 -
That was the only flight available and there were none for the day before. Hope we aren't going to miss the concert 0

Were there any other flights from/to nearby airports ?
You'll miss some of the concert even if your flight is only slightly late.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
I see on Google a taxi from airport to anywhere in centre seems to be €95 , quite expensive but I suppose it would give us the best chance of getting there on time?0

Won't others create traffic jams around the Stadium?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

If you do decide to go direct to concert, I would advise letting your hotel know you will be arriving late...hotels can overbook...I have known people turn up late to find their room gone0
