For a company with 'capital' and 'finance' in their name, they're not exactly flush with cash, are they? Who knows, even that may be depleted now, if some petty cash was needed for teabags and milk....

in theory ... yes 'plc' sounds like the company is going places..
but this company was a 1000 share limited company
and 12 months ago increased its issued shares by 49000 (to 50000) and renamed as plc
There is a single share holder with 100% ownership.
Whereas the "picture painted" on the company website gives a very different impression.

exactly ...
that's why they need to attract all the investors with 8% returns to flush the cash balance to enable them to lend at higher rates to other borrowers who cant get loans from major lenders --- On the other hand there are a number of new lending firms charging over 1000% interest -- whether it's morally right or not is another matter!!
