so I think I may of pushed my luck a little, but we'll see.
I have bank accounts with all LLOYDS banking group account and recently switched my BOS to first direct for the £100 and the regular saver at 6%. now all seems fine, all switched over today as should of, but yesterday I really didn't want to loose the interest on the 5k in my BOS so went and opened another account. whats my chances now the Lloyds group will see I switched an account just to reopen another and take me down the path some of the others was taken, IE - bye bye we no longer want you as a customer :o

I could always say I had some problem settings up my FD account which is true , I did! and just not happy with them and would rather keep my BOS account that's why I opened another

    I wouldn't worry about it.

I opened two sacrificial accounts with Santander earlier in the year, both switched to get incentives or reads within a few weeks and retain accounts with them without any issues.

Based on the experiences of others, if LBG decide that your account conduct isn't to their liking then they just pull the plug with no debate, so you don't get the chance to justify yourself with reasons, real or otherwise....

Whilst I agree - don't worry about it.

What relevence is Santander to a question about Bank of Scotland? They aren't even in the same banking group.
