Best place to sell solid wood furniture?

Hi, can anyone suggest a good place to sell furniture?
When I bought my flat over a year ago I inherited 4 solid wood dining chairs from a relative who had to quickly downsize when she lost her job.
she received them as a gift and believe that they could be antique worth around £200 for all 4. The chairs have arms so although they are dining chairs, they do not tuck under a table nicely. She has never liked them and neither do I because I have no use for them if they cannot go under a table.
I have looked on eBay for similar chairs and they do not go for much because it is pick up only. I'm quite happy to take £50 for them but no less.

Local paper or gumtree? Although furniture tends to go quite cheaply.
Try the local antique shop?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
You could try your local auction house. They would be able to tell you exactly what they are worth and what they could get for them.
You could always try putting them on Ebay buy it now for a price you are happy with and see what happens. Just remember to factor in fees and only accept cash on collection. They may not be worth much but you never know that there might be someone that thinks they are exactly what they want and will pay the price.0
