Nuisance calls from CAH

Hi,

I had a car accident about two years ago, and I keep on getting phone calls from companies who claim they can get me compensation. Recently I've been getting 2 or 3 calls a day!

The thing is, the other driver admitted liability, the claim was settled, and I was not injured.

However this does not deter the companies that are phoning me, who are pushy, rude, and offensive.

On the latest call from CAH I immediately asked them to remove my telephone number from their database and never call me again, the woman on the other end started lecturing me with "There is no need to be rude..." which is rich, given they keep calling me and disrupting my life which I find pretty rude!

Each time they have a new number, recently I've had:

01669 281 304 (Morpeth, England)
01885 225 919 (Bromyard, England)
01261 386 659 (Banff, Scotland)
01243 923 738 (Chichester, England)
01446 345 593 (Barra, Scotland)

I'm registered with the TPS which apparently should stop this sort of thing, but it never works.

Last month when they called me and I asked them to stop, the woman said "No, we'll just schedule another call for you later and keep calling you!" and then hung up on me!

I'm so frustrated by this behaviour. It is really disruptive and I want to find who these people are and take them on, Liam Neeson style!

Has anybody else experienced this, and do you have any suggestions!

Them. There were 5 people in the car with you?
Me No, they were in the other car, you see I was I was driving too fast and hit their car and pushed it in to a ditch.
Them so you were at fault.
Me Oh yes, the screams as it toppled over will haunt me for a long time. Can I get compensation for ...

have handy a !!!!!! clip, let them listen to that carp, they soon hang up thinking they have dialed a £1.50 a min automated chat line and remove you number from the call list and stop selling your number to other companies.


Ive done it and never had a call from these type of companies since.

Brilliant! I'm stealing that one for the next call I get

Normally when they say "we hear you have been involved in an accident" I reply with "Really? Am I OK?". They hang up immediately.
