Moving Into New Home

Hi Folks,

I am about to move in with my long term partner and we have agreed that we will put our money together in one pot. However my partner has managed to get herself into a bit of debt.

We have both agreed that she will pay the debt off of her credit cards (which have been transferred to a 0% balance transfer card.) Once the bills and food has been budgeted, savings added, we have decided that we will split the rest in 'pocket money' for each other.

What is the best way to do this and also budget for all our bills? Also how does everyone budget and if they are using apps or a spreadsheet.

Apologies if this gets asked all the time.
