Why not give the court his address in the USA?
Because Morrisons will cancel this by next week after just an email...soooo much easier! :)

    Hello again

Received a reply from Morrison's saying they are looking into it - seems a standard response sort of thing and that was on Thursday and nothing further since. Also received a response from Parking Eye with copies of all the previous correspondence and still threatening court action - seem to have ignored the request to put it on hold for 21 days!?

So email PE again and tell them Morrisons are looking into cancelling it and, as court action must be a last resort and you need time to also consider the information that ParkingEye have just supplied. So, as an unrepresented consumer in a case where the occupants of the car were genuine patrons (so certainly meeting the cancellation clause in the contract) you expect the matter to be reasonably held without further action for 21 days. Tell them, if they disagree you expect to hear from them by email explaining how long they will allow for evidence to be provided and or cancellation by the retailer.

And follow up Morrisons saying you are being threatened with court but no papers issued yet so please can they confirm it is cancelled because this is extremely stressful, just for shopping in their store? Make sure the PCN number xxxxxx/xxxxxx is in the subject line of all emails.

Every time, Morrisons do this, receipt or no receipt. They appear to have completely understood the mess they got themselves into with this contract but, it being FIVE YEARS from something like 3 years ago, many many of their customers will be sued before they can kick out PE from the sites they haven't yet been kicked out of.

People REALLY MUST complain to retailers when they get a parking charge. Overstaying/taking your time on some occasions, when a genuine shopper, is not 'outstaying your welcome' it is NORMAL and not a crime. Certainly not worthy of lining Crapita's pockets for!

Well done for keeping the faith and seeing this through. Tell your friends - and the retailers should not be congratulated on this because they allowed the fox into the hen coop, with no consideration of what they were actually doing to customers.
