  • So we had been told our valuation was taking place yesterday only to chase it up with our broker this morning and find out it's been pushed back by 2 weeks! to the 18th September! No idea why, it's very frustrating!
  • @marielalaa that’s frustrating. Are you buying a new property?

Our developer would like us to exchange by the 24th September is that possible with precise?
  • We’ve had a valuation completed today, and hoping to hear back early next week. We’ve spoken with precise and they’ve confirmed all they’re waiting for us the valuation, so we’re hoping that’s a good sign.
Hello, just been lurking the forum as we've had our valuation completed today and very nervous waiting to hear back
Did you get your offer through?

Valuation completed & sent to Precise on 27th, we’ve called continually each day and been told it’s with underwriter for “final checks” before offer. Our broker said we’d hear by end of this week but nothing. Abit concerned as not seen such a delay from valuation to offer like this before
  • I’m in the same boat, my valuation took place last week. All I have heard since is that they have requested a signed letter to confirm my circumstances haven’t changed since application. I sent this back on Thursday. I’m so anxious but it’s a relief to see someone else is in the same position, maybe they’ve just had an increase in demand and are a little busier than usual.

We spoke to our broker yesterday and the sales agent for our plot, they advised offer was sent Friday. Great news, slightly annoyed it was done Friday and no one told us.

Yes it is a new build, it's supposed to be ready end of Oct

It is possible from what I have read on this forum! Not sure if we are just unlucky, our expected exchange date was 3rd September but developer completely understands that it's out of our hand until the mortgage offer comes through
  • @Valacarno12 it seems there are lots of issues with communication! Great news though, congrats!!
Gives us a little hope :)

Congratulations! I just had my offer today such a relief!

Congrats SL1999, how long did that take in the end?
  • I don't know if its my broker or Precise but we haven't heard anything in 2 weeks, I keep reading reviews on trust pilot from other people saying it only took 5 days for a mortgage offer!
