Hi

Last weekend my 5 year old decided to jump into my car seat and ended up putting a small tear in the leather part of the car seat. There is a pic below?

Can this be repaired or need a brand new seat covering?

Cost to sort out estimate?

At worst an auto trimmer would probably just replace the panel.

Google car or Auto trimmers and find one in your area, it is probably not as expensive as you would think.
A 2 minute google just found one in my area that will give you a quote from a photo of the damage, they even offer a mobile service.

Obviously there is no substitute for recommendations based on quality of work.

As suggested above, or google search ... car smart repairs - some will only do bodywork, but some do trim also.

If you are nearby Hertfordshire, search A & R pound Baldock . Very good at their job, would easily sort it.

Looking at the damage, it doesn't look like real leather - the edges of the split are very clearly defined, whereas leather normally tears with slightly 'fuzzy' edges.

If it is not real leather, some of the common smart repair methods won't apply, but there are others which can be used.

Definitely looks like it can be repaired, though. I've had worse damage fixed on leather seats in the past.

What car is it? Vectra C?
Often just as quick/cheap to source a full seat depending on car of course.
