Bad credit help!!

Hello, I have just checked my credit file after being rejected for a loan and it is 16!!! On equifax. I really really don't know what to do! I was an absolute idiot when I first started earning money when I was younger and I feel like I've completely ruined my credit future. I've just had some money problems (unexpected bills) this month and now have no money for the month. I earn a good wage and never have money worries but it's all hit me at once this month. It's really frustrating me. How can I improve my score and get hold of some money some how?? I'm desperate! Please help.
Thank you,
Craig

What do your credit files show? Not the scores, but the data on them.
What is your exact situation? You are going to need to find a way through without resorting to loans. We might be able to advise ways of doing that.0 -
It is the data on your report that matters - not the score. Running your finances responsibly will improve how lenders view you over time.
If you have a good salary and no money worries then you should have savings for 'unexpected' bills.0
