Mis sold finance

Options
Hiya, i'm very sorry if this in the wrong section but I'm brand new to this forum and not sure where exactly i should post. Firstly i'll be as brief as possible. I'm looking for help to try and reclaim (if possible) money on some finance i was mis sold. The finance was for a kitchen, the amount for the kitchen was agreed, then i was told how much it would be with the finance, i was happy to pay the amount of the loan plus the interest over the full term of the loan (10 years), but i was misled and never told that the actual figure i would end paying at the end of 10 years would be 2.5 times the amount of the loan plus its interest that i was happy with. All these figures are dealings were done with the kitchen rep not the bank. I just need to know how to go about contacting the right people/persons to help with any claim if possible. Thank you in advance.

Did you sign the agreement? How can you say you didn't know how much you would pay?

Sorry, but I fail to see how you were in any way mis-sold?

So, in summary, you wish to complain that you cannot count?

Ok, firstly thank you for the mature replies, hadn't realised i was dealing with Facebook intellect on here, secondly i agreed to a £3700 loan for kitchen, i agreed and was happy to pay the total amount payable at the end of the term which i was told would be including interest £4200, what i didn't agree to and was never informed of was after the full length of the term i would have paid £10,000
  • monthly payment * number of months paying it would have told you that.

It would have also been on the paperwork.

If the finance agreement was for what you borrowed plus the interest, you will have signed for it and cannot say now you didn't know how much it would cost because you would have been given a statement of some kind with the total amount of months and the total repayable.

If it was a 'loan' from the kitchen company, that included PPI, then if it was sold prior to 2005, you don't have a leg to sand on. If after and they are still trading, complain to them. If after and they have dissolved, compain t the FSCS.

You should have done the calculation yourself prior to signing the agreement.

You were not mis-sold, you just didn't realise how much you would pay but signed anyway..

    "Facebook intellect" ??

It's too late now I'm afraid. It's a done deal.
btw..it is rather silly to sign anything you haven't read and understood fully.
