There are plenty of hobs designed to connect up with a 13A plug. They're probably not as fast, but they're certainly out there.
Ive found people tend to thank post that save them money agree with there reasoning regardless of it being correct or not just human nature :rotfl:0 -
I have no idea what was being sold by Tesco back when it was purchased, nor do I know the model.
Plenty of electric hobs come with a 13a plug fitted.
You have no idea what the electrician meant, especially when it's been passed through someone else.
You have no idea what the hob is designed to be wired up to.
What's the point in stating conjecture as fact?0 -

You don’t need to know what electrician means you need to understand basic domestic electricity e.g. ring main, lighting etc fuse rating, cable sizes etc limitations0 -
I'm sure you're big enough to use Google search; stop being a forum warrior.0

Number of rings able to use full power is limited to "one" or as they call it power management0 -
Well, yes - it's a 13A plug; it's a hob designed with that in mind - it spreads the available load out amongst the rings..
Sorry, I'm just not really sure what your point is? Nobody said you could draw 32A through a 13A socket. I think you might be tilting at windmills here.0 -

Can't you just accept there are numerous four ring Hobbs being sold that are fitted with a 13amp plug?
As he said, try google.0
