Ah... This is another odd one. When I called a landline number from the Safe Finance site it came up as Money *Save* Expert. (Money Save Expert is another of their companies.) When I was originally called I thought the very similar name (which I heard over a less than perfect signal) was referring to here.0 -

I would question how they obtained your contact details if you wasn't expecting their call, or if you haven't made any recent on-line enquiries.
It appears that my details were passed on by Money Supermarket because I forgot to tick a box at some stage.
The company does, however, appear to be legitimate as I called the company for the FCA registration number and they confirmed that it is one of their trading names and that they do know the individuals involved.0 -

Haha! No, although I understand your caution. In fact this has been a good reminder to me to maintain my policy of not taking these calls. This time they caught me on a day off when I was in less of a hurry to put the phone down again.0
