Life insurance for major illnesses

Hi all,
For a number of years I have been looking for life insurance for my wife. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 10 years ago and we have found it impossible to find basic life cover for her. Given her progression has been off the cliff, so to speak, and there have been a couple of serious complications, I would imagine that insurance would now be completely off the table. However, I thought I may try and pick the brains of the community in the hope that someone may be able to suggest either an alternative or an insurance co who may be willing to cover her. We have tried various companies but the end result has always been unsuccessful. I understand there are a few companies in the US who do offer people in our situation cover but sadly we live here. Hoping some knowledgeable person can advise.

You could look at the last resort type policies that don't ask for any health history (the over 50's type you see advertised)0

There are specialist providers in the UK who will underwrite high risk cases. However, high risk = high premiums.but sadly we live here.
Shame you feel that way about the UK. I would have thought that the NHS alone would have made you more positive about living in the UK.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
