I paid a plumber to sort out a couple of toilet flushes at mmy house for tenant. A week later the tenant sent me a message saying she had noticed a leak coming from upstairs toilet and causing damp on downstairs ceiling. Now a bit nasty stain on ceiling and a cost to get DynoRod to come and fix....they said they had to repair a reseal pan connector. So whatever the original cowboy done caused the leak. He gave me an invoice and i paid 100 pounds. But cost me more now to get Dynorod and will need to paint ceiling.
I messaged plumber asking for refund but no reply. Do i have a leg to stand on if i ask again for money back?
Thanks

Instead of paying someone else to rectify the situation you should have got the original plumber back to fix the issue.
Why on earth would you call Dynorod to sort out a leak in your bathroom.0 -
Ask as much as you like. In order to have a leg to stand on you need evidence (photos and/or a statement from the second plumber that prove he made a mistake or was negligent).
I doubt he will simply give you any money back without evidence. He might think he did nothing wrong....0
