doesnt seem to want to download to my Vista PC. The only download that wants to do so is the Lenova one, and the PC says this is a threat.

And are you using this download button from that site ??

yes, but that leads to something else...
Convert .doc → .pdf and .pdf → .doc
doesnt look like a download of shareit0 -
Yes because that isnt a download button !!
It is actually a crafty advert designed to look like a download button, to bait you away to another site in exactly the way that it has done ..
Look further down the page ... for the "Real" download button.
And beware of a similar tactic on the next page.
These "ads " really should be banned .. Like the fake "PLAY NOW" advert/buttons on some video sites

I don't see that green download button anywhere on the link page from post 3.
Downloads fine.0 -
But you probably use an ad blocker.

I see three two with green buttons and one without and three specially marked:
Windows, Android, Iphone.
And a fourth for PC in black.
Don't know how the OP missed the Windows one?0 -

To those who arent expecting it these buttons are very convincing.
The green one would be the first button you see when scrolling down and the OP most likely had no reason to suspect that this wasnt the actual download button and so scrolled no further !!
Like i say, misleading ads like these are the scurge of the internet and should be banned
@bod .. +1 for the ad block reference0
