want to go travelling

Options
I live in supported accommodation and receive around 37 hours direct payments from social services a week. I have chronic schizoaffective disorder - bipolar type and I'm on a CTO.

I want to go travelling, I know I'm allowed to leave the country for upto a month at a time while being on ESA support Group and High Rate DLA which suites me fine. But I have to move out the supported accommodation. I can get a room in another shared house and housing benefit will pay all of it, currently they are paying £187 a week for me to live here. But the other shared house would just be a house without support services. I'm on a CTO so don't know ifs it possible to move out but I want too. I'm wasting my life.

Would you throw all your support away and do something you really want to do, ie, go traveling or live a life that you don't like thats just meaningless , plodding on from month to month waiting to be injected with antipsychotics?

What happens if you become very unwell while 'travelling' ? Especially if abroad, you may struggle to get help.

You've had two previous threads asking the same question. Has anything changed since then that would affect the answers already given? Does your CTO still specify where you have to live? Because if it does, moving to somewhere with no support probably isn't going to be an option for you at the moment.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I thought the situation was familiar.

Yep, he's back. He can't do anything or go anywhere. He is not treatment compliant, he will be on the CTO for a very very long time.
