Ideas for Warsaw Weekend.

We are off to Warsaw for a long weekend in a couple of weeks.

Last time we did a weekend break in a new city (Berlin) I asked on here for some ideas and other members came up with some excellent ideas. So, what are the must-sees in Warsaw, and what tips do others have for getting around? Thanks in advance.:beer:

Hi, we visited a few years back in cold March. Not huge amounts of "must see's" but still a good weekend trip.

We did a free walking tour, which was very interesting, and we learned about the history from the war, the Ghetto etc.

The Nazi headquarter tower was worth the trip up (can't remember the name now).

We also visited the war museum, again, very informative, especially the video showing how the whole city was flattened, and rebuilt.

We stayed just off the "old" square - very pretty, and a bit of a tourist trap, but worth the visit.

It will be much warmer for you, so much easier to wander around without freezing the death!
