Dunno what to do?

As far as the clubbing goes - if you don't want to go every weekend, don't. Just tell your friend you don't want to go every weekend, perhaps they will choose to do something else with you, if not, well, that's up to them.
If you want to start exercising, you really need to find something that interests you otherwise you won't ever be motivated to do it. Do you prefer exercising alone or in a group? You've identified some things you don't like doing but what do you like? Something like cross fit / BMF where you're outside and getting a bit muddy, or something like yoga that builds strength / stamina and tones in a different way? Would you be interested in a team sport like 5-a-side?
Perhaps it would be worth you paying for a couple of sessions with a personal trainer to identify areas you really want to focus on and come up with some ideas. It doesn't have to be gym related. Do you have a friend who could start with you? you could motivate each other (I run once a week at 6.30am with a friend, and if it wasn't for knowing I had someone to meet and would be letting them down if I didn't turn up)
Don't poo poo this but Ceroc dance is getting quite popular, cardio exercise in a fun environment and social as well. Might be something you're interested in that doesn't feel like exercise?
hope this helps give you some ideas.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Surprising if you are flabby with that much walking each day plus weekend clubbing. Do you eat a lot of lardy foods?
I also have a 30 min walk to and from work but it's only about 100/125 cals burned each way so one chocolate bar and that's the calories saved gone.
Op - I see your point about the gym, I don't know how people manage to go to the gym in the lunch break as surely they don't have enough time to do a decent workout, shower, dry hair, make themselves presentable etc unless people do go back to the office without showering which I'd be surprised at. I would suggest going before or after work. That way you can spend as much time or as little time there as you like, not dependent on when you have to be back by.
If you feel you may get bored, most people, myself included, have music on an ipod, but some gyms provide TVs and you can always watch something on your device if on a treadmill or on a bike etc.
Although you say you aren't really a gym person, I never thought I'd attend one till I realised I put on weight, signed myself up and that was three years ago, it becomes part of your routine. I appreciate you might not want to sign up without knowing how you feel, so perhaps see if you can sign up to a no-contract gym eg The Gym Group.
good luck0 -
