Manchester airport parking problem an question

Hey folks
I have a bit of a major problem....we were late leaving the house today as we had a family emergency,on top of that there were road works in the m62 which held us up no end....faced with missing our flight...which we just made by the skin of our teeth I parked the car in T2 multi storey (stupid I know) without pre booking the parking.
Just arrived at our destination to find its £40 per day!!!
Do you think I could book parking in there now from today even though my car is in there retrospectively???
That way I will save a fortune and the barrier should lift on the way out

    If is too late.

You will be considered a no show if you do this (as you are registered entering via anpr.)

There are no refunds for no shows unless you cancel prior to your booked first day of parking

I think your only chance is to actually call them by phone and speak to somebody.

I don't think you will be successful if you try to do anything via online systems. The number is +44 (0) 330 3330304 (http://www.manchesterairport.co.uk/parking/car-parking-faqs/)

No, because you won't drive onto the car park tomorrow, so your car won't be registered as parking from that day. It's registered as parking from today.

Do you not have a relative or friend that could have access to a spare key to collect the car and limit your charges?

I'd call them. I had my car booked into mid stay at Stansted at easter. My mum was taken into hospital when I was away so I had to extend my trip.

Parking was pre booked, I called the company who told me to do a new Internet booking from the day it ran out, which worked really well. I thought it would be complicated but it really wasn't! Worth a try anyway.
