Hey all bit of a tricky one (well i think it is hence why im here!)
I currently live in a caravan (£70all in a week good for saving the pennies!)
But i have all my mail etc registered at a mates house he rents, he lives there on his own so get single living allowence etc
I have a credit card, car insurence etc with no missed payments and would like a mortage begining of next year (first time buyer) but the one thing holding me back is im not on the electrol roll!
So my question is if i was to register at his on the electrol roll how would that affect him?
Thanks all

You should be registered on electoral roll with your residency address, not your mates. As mobile homes generally have no address you can register as without having a fixed address, details available right there: http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/register-to-vote/registering-to-vote-with-no-fixed-address which likely will wind up registering with your mates address as local connection.0
