Gambling Pending Transactions vanished

Last Weds I used my Santander Debit Card on a Online Casino. The amount taken (£1000) was shown as deducted from my banking available balance.

I have checked my online banking today and the pending transaction of £1000 has now vanished and its now shows as available to spend in my bank account.

Does anyone know why this is? If I choose to withdraw some of this available money now will my bank reject the debit transaction when and if it comes through or will they still authorise it and make me go overdrawn?

It does not mean that the transaction does not go through - it could take up to 6 months (and they could chase you up to 6 years)so don't go spending the cash thinking you have got away with it.

    Perhaps Santander declined the transaction?

Have you checked your Online Casino account? Is it still credited with the £1,000 you deposited on Wednesday? If so, you should consider that money spent and not available for withdrawal from your current account.
