Best Holiday sites

Hi

We are looking for a good holiday comparison site. We have tried love holidays, ice lolly, low cost holidays but wondered if anyone can recommend any others?

Or if anyone has any tips to get a good deal on a holiday. We are not going till next May so wanted to start looking now

Thanks

  • Are you looking for a price comparison site like Ice Lolly, or an agent like Love Holidays and LowCost Holidays?

My advice would be to book direct with the airline and hotel/apartments, or use booking.com for the accommodation. Cut out all the shonky (Love Holidays plus a multitude of others) and foreign OTAs (LowCost). It might cost a bit more, but you'll be a lot more assured that you won't get bumped from your accommodation at the last minute and that the prices you see online are the actual prices.

    Hi

    Try https://www.skyscanner.net/flights-from/uk/cheap-flights-from-united-kingdom.html

to look at flights. You can search for a whole month and find the cheapest from your area.

    Look at http://www.trivago.co.uk/,
    https://www.travelsupermarket.com/
    http://www.hotelscomparison.com/
    https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/

to check hotel prices and reviews for where you want to go, if you want to stay in hotels or apartments. Some private villas etc are also included on these websites.

Then check the hotels own website as sometimes they are cheaper or have offers.

If you want to travel on a budget then holiday parks are often cheaper. Also if you have any Tesco reward points then these can be used with Thomson Al Fresco. The parks have their own accommodation as well.

We often use these and are staying in a top price 3 bedroom mobile home Sept- October for £24 a night. We are then having 2 days half board at a hotel for my birthday for £37pn half board.

Car hire - if you need it -try http://www.autoeurope.co.uk/

    Don't forget cashback!
