Kitchen appliances

Right we've decided on the kitchen and now choosing the appliances. Have been looking at Siemens because of the full size oven with microwave, which means I won't have to have a separate microwave. Is anybody aware of any other manufacturers that do the same? Also want an induction hob 900 to 1000mm. Again is it only Siemens that offer these and has anyone any experience of the brand. AEG oven has been good and I love my AEG dryer but not sure what they offer.

All that is OH's requirements - he's the chef - all I want is a full size wine fridge so again appreciate recommendations:D

There are so many makes with so many features I'm goggle eyed from looking!

We're looking for appliances too, but I'm drawn to a separate oven and hob. Induction hobs are very susceptible to cracking from dropped pans, knives etc, and I'm sure it may prove harder to repair/replace a hob that's part of a cooker unit than a smaller separate unit.

If you google induction range you'll get loads of options from a variety of brands.

My fabulous induction cooker is Hotpoint. There's not any mains gas here and I didn't fancy either a conventional electric hob or bottled gas. Not sure about the cracking thing as no-one has dropped anything on it.

There are loads of manufacturers out there with a wide range of sizes and layouts of pan rings. Even a quick look at JLewis website would give you an idea, and there are other websites too.

I'd recommend contacting small kitchen design companies and asking if they are selling ex display. You can get items unused for a fraction of the true cost which means you can up the spec. And of course you can haggle!

I already have an induction hob - a hotpoint 70cm, which very good. However DH wants a larger zone, so will probably sell the one I have with the kitchen or give it to someone starting out!

We've had no problems with it - its almost a year old and it cost around £200.

We're not having a cooker with a hob, all separate. I've decided to go for two large single ovens rather than one unit as if one part of a double oven breaks you have to get rid of the whole thing if it's not worth repairing.

I have been looking through the various websites, but thought I would ask for personal experiences!

Bosch and Neff are same company as Siemens.
