basic details:
Myself - age 55 , with T2 Diabetes ( controlled by diet & tablets )
Partner- age 51
Daughter - age 13
Travelling to Thailand for 2 weeks holiday.
Did have a look on comparison site a while back, but was waiting for results of retinal test, as that was one of questions asked.
Anyone got any good/bad feedback for any companies, particularly if had to make a claim. I'm thinking that the cheapest policies are not always the best.
Cheers

I get my medical insurance through staysure.0

LV online quote system is excellent, as is their call centre if changes are required.0

I have pre-existing conditions and have insurance through Free Spirit. I have no complaints, although I've never had to claim, so I can't give any information about that. The price is pretty good, considering I have 2 neurological conditions, and I found the customer service very good.0

After extensive research of reviews from people who had actually made claims (or tried to in some cases!) I went with LV. A lot of the cheapie companies won't be there to help when you need them based on people's experiences.0

Forget the comparsion sites for travel insurance with medical conditions. I just bought a policy from insurancewith.co.uk very competitive.0

I have found that "Freedom" offers the best price for travel insurance for people I know with pre-existing conditions.
If there are not pre existing conditions I would just use the ones recommended in the MSE guide.0
