Cat flap - no draught excluder!

Just had a Sureflap (microchip) cat-flap installed. trouble is around the 'door' there's a gap that will let in the outside cold air in. I'm sure at a previous address with a less sophisticated one - there was a draught excluder along the edge of the door.

Do yours have one? Any thoughts, on how I could improvise one?

My Sureflap door is a good fit with little room for any air to pass the door. You can't really add any other draft exclusion material as the door has to swing both ways.

If there is something not quite right their customer service people are excellent in my experience.

I would say that the gap at the bottom and the sides is perhaps an eighth of an inch, so it's not a close fit. As I said, I'm sure my previous one had rough beading around the edge of the door, which matched a rough beading embedded in the frame. Just surprised this one doesn't have any thing similar.

My sureflap microchip petdoor has a fluffy draft excluder all the way around, a bit like the ones in a letter box.
