Thinking of going to Pisa around mid July with Easyjet from Bristol.Does anyone have any recommendations for clean budget hotels preferably within walking distance to city centre.Any info on cheap eats would be great also.

Do you have to stay in Pisa? There is nothing to do there at all! We got bored after seeing the tower and got on an earlier train to leave than we'd planned. Pisa is a short train ride from Florence...so much more to see and do there.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

i have to agree with bylromarha , we stayed in Firenze and treated Pisa as a day trip .nice and easy train journey from stazione di santa maria novella and plenty more choice of accomodation /restaraunts/ sites in florence.
but if you do decide to stay in pisa , here are some names - try googling them and see how they look
Have not stayed at any of these , just found their names in my guidebook

Totally agree. Stay in Florence! I was there for 4 weeks earlier this year and it was wonderful. Incredible even. There's a shuttle bus that runs from Pisa airport to central Florence in about 1.5hrs. Alternatively there's a train which is slightly cheaper than the bus.
Can recommend the Hotel Caravaggio in Florence. Quite central and very clean.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0
