Important if you're waiting for CCJ to be removed

I thought if might be extremely useful to let you all know what happened with me and my Equifax credit score. Please also note, before I go into further detail, this has happened on 2 occasions so I am pretty convinced this is how the system works.
I had a CCJ that was due to drop off my file towards the end of July 2016. On the 1st of July 2016, the clock ticked over and it was showing as a debt that was 72 months old (6yrs). When I checked my credit file this morning (2nd July) that CCJ has disappeared. This is 24 days earlier than anticipated and my credit score looks great again. I suspect that the binary clock just automatically adjusts on the 1st of every month but if Equifax hadn't removed the CCJ when they did their monthly update today, it would have tripped over to 73 months on the 1st August. I'm guessing they do a manual adjustment because their system can't show more than 72 months due to the 6 year rule.
Feel free to correct me if you KNOW this isn't the case but it also happened to me back in October 2014, My CCJ should have come off on the 18th but instead was removed on the 3rd. I am aware that it will still show on a public search but helps me with applying for an AIP right now so I'm not complaining
I suspected this was the case but I couldn't find anything on searches I did over the last few months. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future. :j

You do know your despite how nice it is means naff all ?0

How constructive of you! It doesn't mean naff all, it's the difference between being automatically rejected by lots of high street lenders and being accepted. Quite important in my little world.
Thanks for the input though!0 -
So for your next trick you will get credit: default: wait 5 years 11 months then start again?0

Absolutely not MUFC. I've learnt the hard way and I fail to see why you think it's ok to judge someone? Or am I wrong and you have a perfect glass house and are able to throw your own stones? If so, then I bow down to your ability to jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.0

My ccj will be removed in October, did your credit score go up by a big amount. Mine is very poor at the moment0

Lenders check the Trust Registry as well as using the CRA's. Any active data will therefore come up on a search.0

Just ignore them, plenty of idiots in here who think a high post count is some kind of licence to abuse and be arrogant and judgemental. Maybe they should get out more instead of spending their lives posting on a forum eh!
The defaults could still be showing with the other two credit reference agencies so I'd wait until 6 full years have lapsed before making any applications if I was you, what's another few days if you've waited 6 years.
You don't need telling to be careful, you know as you've been there.
Maybe some of the high and mighty will find life bites them on the behind one of those days. I know a guy who thought he was gods gift with money, he juggled cards and accounts and had more credit cards than I've ever seen.
Then he lost his job and life went a bit wrong, he couldn't pay all the bills so used cards, and slowly it unravelled. He ended up bankrupt losing his big house and nice cars. If he hadn't been such a show off and know it all I'm sure everyone would have felt sorry for him, but everyone just laughed as he had been so arrogant about being better than everyone else.
Good luck getting your credit file looking good again0
