Trampolining Centres Grip Socks Interchangeability

Options
On a par with play centres, there are several trampoline fun places opening up now, call them X, Y and Z, aimed mainly but not exclusively at the young. (Feel it in your legs the next day if youre older!).
Some even cater for parties and discos/music. For safety it does seem reasonable for them to insist on grip socks being worn when on the trampoline surface.
What does seem unreasonable is for them to insist that their own branded versions be worn. You pay for them and theyre yours to wash and use.
But surely it is wrong that Place X branded socks can't be worn in Place Y nor Place Z and vice versa, so you pay extra for the socks in each place. Very probably theyre all made by the same supplier.
Is there a British Standard (or even 'old' EU standard) for grip socks they could all work to?

My 19 year old daughter and friends went to to one yesterday and you can bring your own grip socks but don't get a reduction on the entrance fee which includes socks. It is similar with bowling and ice skating where bowling shoes and skates are included in the price, but with the grip socks you get to take them home. I understand that some newer places may sell socks at a low price rather than include them in the entrance price.

I expect encouraging customers to use their socks by including it in the price, makes it easier for staff to check that correct socks are being used, rather than them having to check lots of different socks to ensure they conform to safety regulations (they may need more staff and that would probably increase fees). As they are new socks, I expect it ensures foot odour from previously used, unwashed grip socks that some patrons may use is kept to a minimum. Over time older socks that people continue to use, may develop holes and that could increase the chances of foot infections being transfered.

We use 3 trampoline centres and have never had a problem with staff refusing access with other socks. Most of them seem too busy/lazy to check.

I take our son to special autism sessions at a trampoline park in Manchester. We've always taken our own grip socks, rather than buying the ones available at the park.

They have one in Lincoln now. It was a big thing in the US that's now been brought over. Looks fun actually.
