TR1 form - witness occupation?

Does anyone know if there's been a change in this form in recent years?
Our solicitors have sent through a TR1 for us to sign, from anecdotes and a draft copy online, it seems that section 12 is usually blank and needs to be completed according to the land registry rules.
The solicitor has pre-filled boxes for myself and my partner to put our signatures. Beneath this, there's also lines for the witness' signature, printed name and address. No room or designated line for their occupation.
It's not mentioned on the YouTube video from the land registry.
On the solicitor's letter, they've put:
"I now enclose the Transfer Deed and should be grateful if you could sign this where indicated in the presence of an independent witness (not a relative) who must also sign adding his or her address and occupation where further indicated."
However, when you do a Google search for 'TR1 form witness occupation' - most of the results go back to 2008.
Far be it from me to be too pedantic as a writer, but given the lack of commas in the solicitor's sentence, to me this reads as though there should be space on the form for their occupation.
Can anyone shed any light?
Thank you

Even if it's not necessary, there's no harm in adding the occupation of the witnesses - wherever there is room, it could be at the end of the address. Adding the occupation unnecessarily won't make the form invalid.
My local council recently returned a deed (not a TR1) signed by me because the witness had not stated their occupation. So I just added it in a bit of empty space.
TBH - I think the council were being overly pedantic, but perhaps your solicitor will be equally pedantic.0 -
Just get the witness to write their name and address and occupation next to their signature.
