We did a sky dive over Vegas with these guys: http://www.skydivelasvegas.com/
We also went to the gun store, and shot lots of photos of Bin Laden with various things like a Magnum, Ak47 - not for everyone and probably not politically correct!
We also saw a show, my husband really isn't in to any kind of theatre, but we both absolutely loved Cirque Du Soliel - Ka
This was all 8 years ago on our honeymoon roadtrip, to be honest 4 nights was enough for us, so maybe take an overnight trip to Death Valley - and an overnight at the canyon to break it up. We stayed at the Death valley Motel - phew it was hot in August.0 -
You can walk along the Strip and adjacent streets such as Koval Lane. Beyond that, the city is too spread out to make walking feasible for most people.Thank you i don't drive so will either walk r use public transport.
There are bus services, taxis and Uber over the whole city. There's a monorail which runs parallel to the Strip.
To explore beyond the city without a car you'll need to take a tour, plus there's the option of a helicopter trip for the Grand Canyon. Here's some places you could go, with road distances:
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Nevada 23 miles
Hoover Dam, Arizona/Nevada 32 miles
Mount Charleston, Nevada 43 miles
Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada 56 miles
Zion National Park, Utah 164 miles
Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim), Arizona 275 miles
Helicopter trips from Las Vegas go to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, which is much closer than the South Rim."Such an enormous country, you realize when you cross it" - Jack Kerouac0 -
The Atomic Testing Museum is v interesting, according to relatives who went whilst I was busy with rehearsals for a convention. Accessible by bus just off the strip. I liked the look of the Neon museum but didn't get chance to go there either.
New York roller coaster was fun, great views from the first rise of the coaster!"Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo
"Do not wait; the time will never be "just right." Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along." Napoleon Hill0 -
Take the deuce bus up and down the strip - go upstairs and sit at the front if you get the chance - its a great way to see the strip and its cheap.
I would also recommend the high roller at the Linq.0
