Barclaycard - Existing 0% running out, money transfer to bank?

Hi all,
Would appreciate some advice re Barclaycard and allocation of payments. I have just under 50% of the limit accrued on 0% on purchases until August, and don't want to instantly pay it off. There is an offer on the website of a money transfer to a bank account which keeps the balance at 0% until October 2017 which would be really handy but my question is, if I go ahead and do this, can I literally just pay it straight back off the card, or do I need to wait for the point at which the purchases balance starts getting charged interest?
Don't want to mess it up and end up paying off money transfer while the purchases accrue interest!
Thanks

You need to carefully read the order of payments from your T&Cs. It should work in your favour but there are the odd one or two cards that would apply it differently. A quick look seems to show it would work as you hope.

In addition to the above, although interest may be 0% have a look to see if there is a fee to pay. Personally I don't like debt on debt and I would go for paying it off rather than extending it with more debt.0 -

I tried translating that. Google thinks it's Vietnamese and about potatoes.0
