I’m off for a long weekend to Puerto Banus in a few weeks and am after any top tips with regards to where to eat. I’m after value for money rather than out-and-out cheapness.
Also, Lady Lardington is a Vegetarian (yes I know Spain is possibly not the most veggie friendly venue in the world but India’s too far for Friday to Monday
) so if you’ve any advice in that departrment I’d also be grateful. I'm hoping for adecent array of Veggie Tapas (Patatas Bravas etc.)but further help would be great.
Thanks

I went there a year ago, and planning a return at the end of September.
We ate in a really good fish restaurant (no veggies with us, so can't comment on that, I'm afraid). I also can't for the life of me remember the name, but it was on the marina (along with a fair few others!).
It was nice to watch the boats and expensive cars, if nothing else. Considering the location, it wasn't particularly expensive.
If I'm there before you, I'll let you know how I get on.Debbie0 -

Los Bandidos on the front at Puerto Banus is very good, it's next to the louis vuitton shop so good for people spotting, but the food is excellent
ALso the restaurant in the EL Corte Ingles ( in the shopping centre) near to the dual carriageway is very good value and from what I remember had a good choice for veggies.Lord_Lardington wrote: »I’m off for a long weekend to Puerto Banus in a few weeks and am after any top tips with regards to where to eat. We've been to Puerto Banus many times, I am sure most of the resteraunts will have veggie options.
I can highly recommend Picasso's right on the harbour front, best pizza i have ever had, better to get there early to ensure you get a table though. :j0 -
Hey, pizza, the meat-eater-with-a-veggie-partner's friend.
Thank for this and the other tips.
Quick Side Question: I know Puerto is famously expensive but to be honest of all he places I've been (including other reputed money sinks like Nice and Monaco) I always find that London still seems to cost more.My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0
