Summer house recommendations please

We have finally decided to replace our garden shed with a summer house. There is a concrete base and I have been advised to purchase a 4m x 2.5m building so have been looking online. We won't require it to be installed by the suppliers as, being part of a bigger job, we have someone who will do this.
So, basically we don't want to spend more than £2500 if we can help it though realise that there are lots of extras to be taken into consideration. Hopefully our men can advise on what we need but meanwhile, we're looking for recommendations for suppliers of good quality summer houses at a reasonable price.
Dunsters seem to have some nice ones but just wondered if anyone has had experience of that company or others to explore. Thanks.

I think there are still some things I wouldn't buy on-line and a summerhouse or shed is one of them. It isn't a clearly defined object like a particular model of camera, although even with those there's the possibility of grey imports.
In other words, buying on-line means you'll have no way to determine the exact quality of what you might receive....and a summerhouse isn't the easiest thing to send back!
Usually, within 50 miles of most places, there's a garden buildings manufacturer with workshops and a display space. They won't be paying for national advertising, but if they've been in business for a good while, it's a fair bet they'll have a decent reputation to uphold.
That would be the sort of place I'd look first, where I can touch the product and even jump about in it to see if it flexes. I've seen and helped erect a couple of on-line 'bargain' sheds, and if it had been me that had purchased them, I'd have been crying!
Finally, if I didn't have the option of tanalised wood and galvanised fittings, I'd walk away.0 -
Try Woodford timber for treated cabins , there isn't many that treat
I bought one from Latvian log cabins in Blackpool and for the price they where far superior to Dunster. Owner kept to his word and delivered exactly what he statedHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
To add to the tanalise comment from Davesnave, the timbers must be pressure treated - walk away from dipped, or coated timbers. Ask for proof of pressure treating - do not rely on sales people peddling out nonsense.0
